Skroutz

In this guide you set up the secure webhook URL: a private address, unique to your store, where Skroutz sends every new order. Orders then appear in Lynk Insights right away, with no manual sync.

  • A Lynk Insights account where you are the account owner. Team members can see the status but cannot create or change the URL.
  • Access to your store’s Skroutz Merchants account (merchants.skroutz.gr). Its screens are in Greek only, so this guide quotes the Greek labels with an English translation.
  1. From the menu, open Skroutz and the Connection tab.

  2. In the Secure webhook URL card, click Create secure URL.

  3. Click Copy to copy the URL.

  4. Sign in to Skroutz Merchants and open Υπηρεσίες (Services) > Skroutz Marketplace.

  5. In the section Σύνδεση με e-shop (προαιρετικό) (Connect with e-shop, optional), open Webhook παραγγελιών (Order webhook).

  6. Paste the URL into the Webhook URL field, replacing the old one. There is a single field for all order updates.

  7. Keep Ενεργοποίηση (Enable) ticked and click Αποθήκευση (Save).

  8. Go back to Lynk Insights and click I have copied it.

After you create it, the card shows only a short part of the URL (for example wh_…ab12), never the whole URL.

As soon as Skroutz sends the first order to the new URL, the label changes to In use and the message Skroutz is sending orders to the secure URL appears. Until then the label is Waiting for Skroutz.

Last received (current secure URL) and Last received (old URL) show when the last order arrived at each URL. When orders arrive only at the secure URL, setup is complete.

The Old URL section shows the address you used before, labelled Being retired. It will stop working soon. If Skroutz still uses it, replace it with the secure URL as soon as you can.

Click Create new URL and confirm. The current secure URL keeps working for a limited time, so you have time to put the new one in Skroutz. After that, only the new one works.

After the change, the label goes back to Waiting for Skroutz until an order arrives at the new URL. If Skroutz still sends to the previous URL, the message Skroutz is still using your previous URL appears with the time it stops working. Put the new URL in Skroutz before then.

If the URL was shared by mistake, click Revoke current URL now, type the word shown and click Revoke and create new URL. The current URL stops working at once.

I closed the card without copying the URL: click Create new URL. The URL Skroutz uses keeps working for a limited time, and the card shows when it stops.

The label stays at “Waiting for Skroutz”: the label changes with the first new order. Check that you saved the new URL in the Webhook URL field in Skroutz Merchants, with Ενεργοποίηση ticked, with no spaces at the start or end.

“The URL was just changed in another window”: the URL was created at the same time from another window or device. If you do not have the new URL, create a new one.

I cannot see the “Create secure URL” button: only the account owner can create or change the URL.
